A summer internship at Roxy, regular vs reverse camber, filming vs competing and more with Erin Comstock in this round of SNOWBOARDER’s Guestbook.

Her name says it all: Erin (Airin’) Comstock (Comes stock). Erin lives in Salt Lake City and tries to balance her time between snowboarding, looking for a man, and pretending to like soccer. For some reason she refuses to ride powder, and continues to confuse the masses by riding icy parks in her home state of Utah—a place that boasts the greatest snow on earth. Go figure. Aside from that, she’s stepped to some pretty decent-sized handrails with a solid bag of tricks, so at least there is still some logic to her riding. Perhaps one of her greatest achievements comes not from snowboarding, but from the ability to never age—born in 1975, she oddly remains 29 still to this day. She’s had trouble keeping a dude locked down, due to the fact that she usually rides better than him. (Not the Finnish one.) She participates in a fraudulent on-again off-again relationship with an unnamed top pro snowboarder, most likely to help boost media interest and keep the checks flowing in. She does well at contests, but only because she has to, so she can support her Hello Kitty obsession. She also carries the prestigious title of slumlord, taking advantage of several other female snowboarders in the SLC area by charging them outrageous prices for rent at her home, while proclaiming that her reasoning for such residential atrocities are justified by her recognition as a legend. Click HERE for a chance to win Erin’s kit. (Anti-aging creams and pills not included.) Your clock is ticking…and so is Erin’s.
