Apparently Mammoth hasn’t gotten the memo that the rest of the country is getting ready for summer. Another 13-16 inches of snow have fallen within the last 24 hours. Mammoth has officially crossed over the 600″ mark of snowfall for the season at main lodge.

According to Mammoth Mountain, “As of this afternoon the current season snowfall total is 608 inches and it’s still coming down. As you can see, it still looks like mid-February out there.”

They are boasting a current base of 330 inches at the Summit, 190 inches at Main Lodge.

It is almost 11 weeks past Groundhogs day. We are starting to think Punxsutawney Phil has no idea what he is talking about.
