We are proud to announce that Shane Reide from Northern California won the 2009 Academy Snowboards’ Foundation Scholarship. Shane graduated from Western Career College and will now be working in the Emergency room at Sutter Medical Center in Sacramento. So after he puts on his scrubs and works the night shift, he gets to sleep a few hours and then gets to go shred his brand new Academy boards and gear as well as a nice check for $631.24 (1% of that region’s sales). This year we will now be offering (4) scholarships and the top (2) winners will win a FREE session to High Cascade Snowboard Camp.
