Sacramento artist Skinner who’s done graphics for CAPiTA Snowboards and BLOOD WIZARD skateboards teamed up with CAPiTA, and BOARDS n MOTION in Auburn, to give back to the local community. Skinner did a painting at Boards N Motion last week and signed one of the THE QUIVER KILLER boards that he did the graphic for. These are on display at the shop and together they will be given away to the winner of the silent auction that will take place until Friday the 13th of November2009.
The money raised during this auction will be donated Placer High School’s Art Dept in Auburn where BOARDS n MOTION is located and also where Skinner attended high school.
The bidders need to contact BOARDS n MOTION directly to place the bid by calling 530.888.7873 or by emailing to boardsnmotion@sbcglobal.net with the subject being : SKINNER AUCTION…..
With each of the pro’s signature models laid out in front of the prospective bidders, the Silent Auction aspect of America’s Next Top Pro Model wasn’t strictly a popularity contest.
After the conclusion of the on-snow contests, a silent auction was held at the Windells Snowboard Camp campus with all proceeds going towards the overall America’s Next Top Pro Model champion’s charity of choice.
If you can read, then you can tell exactly what this is, a board of all trades, a quiver killer to be exact. This directional freestyle board will give you maximum shredibility in the pipe and high speed runs, but will tickle your fancy for jumps as well. CAPiTA crafted this creation in order to give consumers a choice for a do everything stick, equipped with an SS SELECT Core, FORM 6 Fiberglass Configuration, CFS Carbon Fiber Reinforcements, High transparent Extruded base, Aluminum Logo Base Inlay and 360 Degree steel edges.

When JP Walker and Jeremy Jones order you to highlight Milosport in the Talkin’ Shop column, it’s pretty evident that the shop is doing something right.
Episode 2 of Happy Trails takes us 40 miles east of Los Angeles to Mtn. High, CA to meet up with Cory Cronk, Dylan Thompson, Trevor Haas, Kyle Lopicolo, Jeremy Seegmiller and more.
A few weeks before the 2010 Holy Oly, a friend told me he wanted to compete in the Holy Oly. I had never been so I asked Pat “How do you get in the Holy Oly?” Pat replied “Go up and Strap in.” While I was shooting the event, a couple little guys hiked up and asked me what it takes to ride the course. I told them “go up and strap in.” When you go to a snowboard contest in the Northwest, expect some soul and some legendary snowboarders from all generations.
