European Winter X Games Slopestyle Finals Video

The inaugural European Winter X Games are underway at Tignes, France. There wasn’t much change in the top 3 at this Slopestyle event except for Euro shred Marco Grilc who edged his way into 3rd place. Sage Kotsenburg continues to kill it this season placing 2nd. Look for him in a few weeks at Snowboarder’s The Launch where we invite 50 of the world’s top snowboarders under age 18 for private session. Landing his way into 1st place was Eric Willett. You might remember him from our 1st Episode of Happy Trails at Copper schralping pow.

This course looked pretty long compared to the Winter X Course at Aspen, and it’s a damn good thing it was sunny, ’cause if it were cloudy, it would’ve been easier to snowboard blind. No trees to provide definition for the riders makes it really hard to ride in flat light.
