I had never been so I asked Pat “How do you get in the Holy Oly?” Pat replied “Go up and Strap in.” While I was shooting the event, a couple little guys hiked up and asked me what it takes to ride the course. I told them “go up and strap in.” When you go to a snowboard contest in the Northwest, expect some soul and some legendary snowboarders from all generations.

Being the giving magazine that we are, SNOWBOARDER snagged a handful of photos from the December 2009 issue; it’s our present to you.

Nothing too exotic or life altering, but definitely above average for the Northeast. It snowed and some other stuff happened too.

SNOWBOARDER felt like shit after the Olympics. The 7th annual Holy Oly at The Summit Snoqualmie made us feel much better.
