Christine Savage – Full Part 2016-17

From Taylor ham to street hammers.

Fueled from a young age by a steady supply of everything bagels and East Coast fast laps, Christine Savage honed her edge control on the trails of Mountain Creek before heading west to Tahoe where she found a penchant for powder in the peaks of The Sierra. The duality she possesses on her board is a one-two punch: she’s technical in the streets and smooth in the backcountry. Christine’s presence in the past two seasons of Too Hard films has cemented her as a creative maven in the streets and last winter, she headed into the backcountry with new women’s powder project, Powanoia and increased her seasonal stack in deep snow. The result of her efforts is a 2016-17 full part that’s equal parts jibbing, slashing, and sending, wrapped up in a dedicated style sensibility. To put it simply, Savage provides a full part that’s just plain full of Taylor ham-mers.

Filmed by Kieth Rutherford and Sam Tuor. Edited by Kyle Beckman.
